TV Western movies, raising tomatoes, reading and playing tennis. He loved the
mountains and spending time in the woods. Wayne valued time spent with family
and was faithful in visiting aunts, uncles and cousins.
Wayne was a kind and generous man who was extremely proud of his 3 daughters,
and 5 grandchildren who called him "Pop Pop." Wayne was a faithful member of
Virginia Heights Baptist Church and served as a Deacon, bus driver and usher.
Wayne was not vocal about his faith, but he lived it. Many thanks to all the
wonderful Christian friends at VHBC for their prayers, meals, cards and calls and Christian support.
