Duffy Ferguson graduated from Franklin County High School in 1990. A 1994 graduate of Gupton-Jones College of Funeral Service, Duffy received his Funeral Service License in November, 1994. He began working for Oakey’s in December 1997 and became Manager of Oakey’s, North Chapel in 2018.
Duffy, his two children, Kevin, 12, and Kaitlyn, 10, live in Rocky Mount to be near Duffy’s parents. He enjoys spending free time with his children and working with civic organizations such as Shriner’s and Pleasants Masonic Lodge. Duffy volunteers with the Medical Reserve Corps and Virginia Funeral Director’s Disaster Response Team as well. He can also be found working in his wood shop or walking trails and enjoying nature.
