Joshua M. Dama, Manager, Vinton Chapel, joined the Oakey’s staff in 2018. Josh is a graduate of Thiel College, where he received his B.A. in Business Administration. He then attended and graduated from the Pittsburgh Institute of Mortuary Science, receiving a Diploma in Funeral Directing and Embalming in 2006.
When he isn’t serving families at Oakey’s, Josh is spending time with his own busy family: his amazing wife, Chelsea, their four young children, Rowan, Silas, Alma and Elon, and their chocolate lab, Wallace. As a family, they love to hike, explore Roanoke's amazing outdoor recreational activities, attend festivals, visit new local spots, boat, fish, swim and spend time with their extended family at Smith Mountain Lake. The Damas found their church home at Bedrock Church, where Josh also volunteers as part of the security team. If he finds time to sneak away from the family, you can find him fishing, bowling or on the golf course.
