Originally from Northern Virginia, Stuart is a 1977 graduate from Virginia Western Community College with an AAS degree in Traffic and Transportation management. After 14 years in the Transportation business, Stuart joined Oakey’s in December of 1991 as a Funeral attendant..
In November of 1996, Stuart began his training as a Crematory Operator earning his certification and has worked in the Crematory department since Oakey’s opened their first facility in March of 1997. Stuart is now Manager of the Cremation Tribute Center at Oakey’s South Chapel.
